Ranger Suarez Has Been Dominant For The First Place Phillies

Philadelphia Phillies starting pitcher Ranger Suarez continued his torrid start to the 2024 season, notching his seventh victory last night over the Miami Marlins.

Suarez pitched seven scoreless innings while allowing three hits and two walks while striking out nine in a 8-2 Phillies victory.

The 28 year-old Suarez is 7-0 in eight starts this season. He has a ERA of 1.50 and a WHIP of 0.72 with 55 strikeouts in 54 innings pitched.

Suarez has always showed promise and has flashed some really good performances since making his MLB debut in 2018, but now he is putting it all together and becoming a dominant starter.

The left-hander is giving the Phillies another big starting pitcher to go along with aces Zack Wheeler and Aaron Nola.

Suarez is another reason that this powerful Phillies team is a force to be reckoned with.
