Liverpool may have already won the league title in record time but much still remains undecided as the EPL enters its final couple of weeks. Not least, who finishes inside the top four positions and qualifies for next season’s UEFA Champions League.

Given the ease in which the Reds romped to a first title win in thirty years, the race for the top four has been the saving grace in terms of having something to talk about and injecting some jeopardy into the final few fixtures.

While Liverpool and Manchester City, confirmed as Champions and runners-up respectively, have two of the spots wrapped up, as many as four teams remain in with a chance of claiming the remaining two places.

Of those, Christian Pulisic’s Chelsea is in pole position in terms of points on the board and are rightly the favorites, as many of the top sports betting sites that are legal in the US right now, confirm.

Pulisic himself has been in dazzling form since the mid-June restart. The USMNT star has helped Chelsea move up to third and claim the ascendency as the season nears its end. Frank Lampard’s men are priced at -625 by leading sportsbooks DraftKings and 888sport, even with a tough run-in which includes fixtures versus Liverpool and Wolves.

Hot on the heels of The Blues is a Man United team (-335) who have, without question, been the in-form side since the season resumed. The Red Devils are back to the Man United of old, scoring heaps of goals and churning out victories. Despite suffering a bump in the road by conceding a last gasp equalizer to Southampton, Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s side hold the momentum and appear to be in control of their own destiny with favorable games to come.

One of those is against fellow top 4 contenders, Leicester City. If there’s a team that has struggled since soccer returned, it’s the Foxes. Brendan Rodgers’ men are struggling for form and consistent performances and are in real danger of losing out on a lucrative place in the top 4, a position they’ve held since September. Recent results, including a capitulation against relegation-threatened Bournemouth, coupled with an upcoming run of difficult games could see Leicester edged out, as odds of +162 suggest.

Leicester’s Midlands rivals, Wolves are the +1200 underdogs in all of this. That’s despite the club enjoying one of its best-ever seasons. Nuno Espirito Santo has steered The Wanderers into a position where crashing the party of the so-called top six teams in the country is almost certain but a top 4 place may prove beyond them.

However, an intriguing last day trip to Stamford Bridge to take on Chelsea means Wolves will have the final say in who finishes where and could even sneak in themselves if results go their way.

The race has, this week, intensified further after Manchester City’s proposed two-year Champions League ban was overturned. Had it stood, Wolves would have been one of the teams looking to capitalize on fifth place being enough to earn Champions League qualification.
