WWE released Deonna Purrazzo on April 15, 2020. She was considered unfit for television which reflected badly on her and the WWE Performance Center trainers.

She allegedly bullied another female talent into quitting for a short time. She also allegedly “disrupted” the marriage of another wrestler. WWE officials said that they couldn’t wait to get rid of her and the feeling was mutual.

In addition to all of that, she was allegedly not subtle in leaking insider information to some pro wrestling news sites and indie promoters. Right after her release from WWE, she did interviews with several websites.

Purrazzo made her Impact Wrestling TV debut on May 26, 2020 in a video teaser. Her in-person debut was on June 9, 2020 as she attacked Impact Knockouts Champion Jordynne Grace immediately after Grace defended the title in a win over Taya Valkyrie.

Purrazzo is NOT signed to a contract by Impact Wrestling and remains a free agent. Grace will defend the Knockouts Title against her on the Impact Wrestling pay-per-view on 7/18/20.
