Even heading into Week 14, quarterback controversy is running rampant in the NFL. Jalen Hurts has been the starting quarterback for the Eagles all season long until this past week when backup quarterback Gardner Minsches made his debut due to Hurts being inactive with an ankle injury

Minschew performed better than anyone expected. In fact, he was responsible for leading the Eagles to a win over the New York Jets completing 20 of 25 passes and ending the day with 133.7 passer rating. To say that Minschew was excited about the win was an understatement, as evidence by the video below of him celebrating with his father.

Heading into Week 14, the Eagles have a bye and made a depth chart change making Minschew the starting quarterback for Week 15, unless Hurts is able to recover quickly enough to play. The assumption is that 3rd string quarterback Reid Sinnett will remain the backup quarterback as well, unless Hurts is able to play.

Recent reports indicated that Hurts should be able to play, but as of now, Minschew will remain QB1 and Sinnett as his backup. As of now, there is no plan to have Sinnett start.
