Before losing in overtime to the Indianapolis Colts yesterday night, Green Bay Packers wide receiver Marquez Valdes-Scantling had a costly fumble that was forced by Colts linebacker Darius Leonard.

But there were Packers fans who were not pleased at all. In fact, they took it a step too far by sending death threats to the wideout on social media.

We got screenshot images of what happened with the receiver via WLUC TV6 and the Milwaukee Journal-Setinel.

That is all what happened after he sent out this tweet below.

Fortunately, he got words of encouragement from his teammates and head coach Matt LaFleur via quotes from the images above.

It is a common thing that fans of their team don’t like to lose especially in key games and situations, but death threats?! Some of y’all need to check yourselves in this case.

He will be able to rebound significantly as they play divisional rival Chicago Bears next Sunday night at Lambeau Field.
