With the spring season just coming around the corner, the Festival of the Angry Bear is returning to the Ore Dock Brewery in Marquette on Saturday, April 4.

Known as ‘the celebration of spring,’ the event will feature live music, food, a costume contest, and an array of signature, craft beers on tap to commemorate the festival.

Their main beers include their special Angry Bear sour ale for the festival, along with many others on tap. Anyone that has been to any prior festival before this year can bring their reusable cups and have their beer fix with it! The full on-tap menu listing will be announced later this month.

Along with food from Digs Gastropub, Smelted Wood-Fire Pizza and more that will be serving to anyone in attendance on the grounds, there will be a lineup of live music that will be performing at the festival.

The full lineup includes bands such as: Lalo Cura, Blanco Suave, Public Access, Steve Leaf & the Ex Pats, Charlie Millard Band, Trailer Hitch, Brother Elsey and WhoDat Brass.

As listed from the website, there will also be ‘the Woodland Creature’ costume contest in which one person can win more than $100 in prizes.

The Angry Bear festival will start at 3 p.m. and it will run up to 1 a.m. while supplies last, and is recommended for everyone attending to dress warm for any type of weather. The event is strictly for entrants 21 years old and over, but anyone that is underage are welcome to come, as long they’re accompanied with an adult.
