It has been one year since Juice Wrld passed away. Juice was one of my favorite up and coming artists. Juice Wrld was only 21, he actually turned 21 six days before his tragic passing. Juice Wrld was on the way home on his private jet when he he suffered from a accidentally drug overdose. What makes this even more sad, Juice made a song in 2018 called “Legends.” Which was about rappers Lil Peep and XXXTENTACION, who both tragically passed away at the ages of 21 and 20. In the song, Juice goes “what’s the 27 club? We ain’t even making it past 21.” Sadly he was correct.

In the year since his passing, Juice Wrld has been the most streamed artist on spotify and his label put out one posthumous album called “Legends Never Die.” That album set records.

Juice Wrld literally caused Spotify to crash when his album came out. Five songs from “Legends Never Die” debuted in the Top 10 of the Hot 100 chart, becoming just the third artist to claim five of the Top 10 slots in a single week, following Drake and The Beatles. This album crushed every record imaginable and it showed you what impact Juice Wrld made on music. A year later, still hard to believe he is gone. Take some time and listen to some Juice Wrld today.

Rest In Peace Juice.
