A single-car crash left a building on fire and one driver uninjured near Lake Linden (in the north region of Houghton County) earlier this Sunday morning.

The Keweenaw Report said in their post that the driver of a pickup truck crossed their centerline near an intersection on M-26.

The driver missed a signpost for the Drive-Thru Depot, knocking down the restaurant’s air conditioning units before crashing into a storage building.

The truck eventually caught fire and was destroyed. The building was heavily damaged as a result.

The driver was unhurt after escaping the truck and running to safety.

M-26 was closed for an hour as firefighters were battling the fire.

The Keweenaw Report will be providing more updates and information about this accident/fire once they become available.
