A collapse at the Hard Rock Casino Hotel in New Orleans construction site has left one person dead, multiple people injured, and two others missing. Around 45 workers were around the area when it started to fall.
The collapse occurred over on Canal Street at around 9 a.m. Central Standard Time (CST).
Horrifying footage from Breaking911 shows pedestrians running for cover as the top floors of the building were brought down into a cloud of dust and rubble.
Another image showed cars trying to get away from the collapsing site as people ran for cover.

Local first responders and police and fire units were on the scene and at least 18 people were transported to a local hospital for treatment.
The city’s emergency response team have told the locals to stay away from the area.
“This is an active scene. Please avoid the area & listen to public safety officials,” the team said.
