On Monday, the Cleveland Browns put Odell Beckham Jr on waivers, which gave teams 48 hours to put in a waiver claim on him and grab him.

He cleared through waivers, which made him a free agent and free to sign with any team in the league.

Beckham has reportedly made the Green Bay Packers as his preferred destination to sign with.

The Packers, who are a contender in the NFC playoff race, are dealing with their own issues with Aaron Rodgers, who has been out after contracting COVID-19 and lost to the Kansas City Chiefs this past Sunday with Jordan Love as their quarterback.

Rodgers availability for the game against the Seattle Seahawks is yet to be known, but once Rodgers gets back on the field, thenPackers get back to being a contender.

With Beckham trying to join a contender, it makes sense for him to want to sign with Green Bay and try to get them over the hump,as far as the NFC playoffs go.
