Instead of the weekly “NWA Powerrr” series…this evening we were treated to the company’s 1st installment of the “NWA: Circle Squared” series. A brand-new series which features professional wrestlers vying for an NWA contract.

Let’s get into the action…

We see Kyle Durden who’s ready to interview the participants in the 1st match of the evening. Out comes the father & son team of PJ (son) & Luke Hawx (father). PJ recently rose to some fame with a clip of him jumping off of a balcony at a shopping mall during an independent match going viral, a few weeks ago. The pair cut a quick baby-face promo before heading to the ring. Then we get a nice surprise with legend Nikita Koloff making his way to the interview area & says he knows a thing or two about tag-team Wrestling & he learned from some of the best, so he has found an opportunity to coach what he believes is the best kept secret in all of tag-team Wrestling…Tyson Dean & Jeff Lewis Neal who say few words before heading to the ring. We have a very nice little back & forth to begin the match with Dean & Neal showing off a nice powerful-style for a couple of minutes on PJ before he makes the hot-tag to his father, Luke takes control, PJ comes back into the ring for an assist on a nice double power-slam which garners the pin-fall & the victory for the Hawx duo.

The promotion then announces that the upcoming Crockett Cup PPV event will be held on April 19th at the Gateway Center in Atlanta, Georgia. Tickets go on-sale, February 28th with a special pre-sale offer being held the day before, on February 27th.

That wraps up NWA’s 1st ever Circle Squared episode as we got about a half an hour episode rather then the full-hour episodes we usually get for “NWA Powerrr”…which returns, next Tuesday evening as Thunder Rosa defends her NWA Women’s Championship against former-WWE Women’s Champion, Melina.

Thanks for reading & stay with PSE & my Twitter (@tvttedwhiteboy) as I will be previewing & reviewing tomorrow night’s edition of the Wednesday Night Wars as NXT & AEW go head to head for the 8th time in 2020.
