The relationship between the Los Angeles Rams and DeSean Jackson doesn’t appear to be a long one that will last the season.

The 34-year-old wide receiver has been told by the Rams that he can seek out a trade to anywhere he desires.

With the 4pm trade deadline set for Tuesday, it appears that the Rams and Jackson aren’t happy with one another and the veteran is looking for playing time elsewhere. Jackson had signed with the Rams on a one-year, $2.75 million deal before the 2021 season.

In seven games with the Rams, Jackson has caught eight passes for 221 yards and one touchdown. The majority of his production came in a game earlier in the season against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers when he caught a 75-yard touchdown pass.

Aside from that, Jackson has barely been a factor; catching one pass in the last two games and not catching anything in the Rams last game against the Detroit Lions.

The good thing for Jackson is that teams always can use a veteran with speed and if there is a team out there who feels like they could use his services, they will give the Rams a call.

For his career, Jackson has caught 620 balls for 10,877 yards and 57 touchdown receptions.
