NFL Hall Of Famer Joe Montana Admits to Cheating; Deion Sanders Suggests Trade Destination For Julio Jones!

To many NFL fans out there, Joe Montana is the greatest quarterback of all time. Ten years ago, that would have been a certainty. With Tom Brady now capturing 7 Super Bowl rings, it’s hard to claim Montana was the greatest. With that said, you can lay claim that Montana was the greatest of his era and many people would be hard pressed to argue that.

However, one thing about Montana is certain. He was a cheater. During the Deflategate controversy surrounding Tom Brady, Montana had the following to say on the issue:

“Everybody is trying to do something different. Our offensive linemen used to spray silicone on their shirts until they got caught. Once you get caught, you get caught. Period. It doesn’t take anything away from Tom’s game. But how long has he been doing it? I don’t know.”

“It is one of those things that is a rule, right? It might be a dumb rule, but it doesn’t matter. He didn’t deflate them himself, but you can pick up the ball and can tell if it is underinflated, overinflated or what you like. Everybody is afraid to say it, but if the guy did it, so what. Just pay up and move on. It’s no big deal.

“They always say, ‘If you ain’t cheating, you ain’t trying,’” Montana told NFL Network’s Andrew Sicliano. “So they’re trying hard.”

So in these quotes, Joe Montana admitted that he was fully aware that his offensive linemen, the men that were there to protect them, broke the rules in order to gain an advantage. Montana also made the comment ” if you ain’t cheating, you ain’t trying.” Making a comment like that sounds like Montana is fully endorsing NFL players to cheat. If you endorse cheating, than you are a cheater. And that is exactly what Montana is. A cheater.

In other NFL news, Hall of Fame cornerback and wide receiver Deion Sanders recently commented on a potential landing spot for current Atlanta Falcons wide receiver, Julio Jones. Sanders, who is now the head coach of Jackson State University had the following to say about Jones and his best future destination:
