Two weeks ago all of the fake bandwagon Yankees fans (who are probably also Cowboys and Duke basketball fans) were whining like little bitches because they were struggling. Well guess what, that’s why they don’t have the playoffs in fucking April. Yeah the Tigers stink out loud, but all it takes is racking up a few wins in a row to get on a hot streak and build morale in the locker room. There wasn’t much offensive action on the Bombers’ side, as they only put up 2 runs from a RBI double from Higgy and then a sac fly from Gardy right after, but it wasn’t needed as Kluber looked like his old Cy Young self as he fanned 10 batters and gave up zero runs to get his 100th career victory and propel the Yanks to a 2-0 win to get them back to the .500 mark. Despite the bats not being that alive today, the Yanks definitely had a great weekend offensively overall and it’s normal for them to possibly be a little tired at the end of a weekend stretch before they get a dayoff tomorrow and get ready to face the Astros on Tuesday. After sitting out on Wednesday and Thursday last week due to injury, Aaron Judge had a monster weekend with 2 homers on Friday in their 10-0 win and then going 3-5 with 3 RBI’s yesterday in their 6-4 win. When Judge is back on track, the Yankees get back on track. Gleyber Torres on saturday went 2-4 with 3 RBI’s himself, after having a slow start to the season. He’s another guy who is a key factor to the offense and how far the team will go this season.

It seems as though the team is getting on a roll and looking like the Yankees who everyone expected to look like entering the season.
