The Coronavirus has finally made its way to the National Football League.
Late Thursday afternoon, New Orleans Saints Head Football Coach Sean Payton confirmed on a Twitter post that he has tested positive for the Coronavirus. Payton thanked his fans for their well wishes and stated he was feeling better and was not experiencing any of the respiratory symptoms. Payton went on to state he expects to be quarantined at home an additional 4 days.

In an interview with ESPN, Payton revealed he is one of the 20% of the cases that has no fever and no cough. He was very optimistic about a full recovery.

Payton is a resident of the greater New Orleans area, a part of the country that has been hit hard over the recent days from the Coronavirus. Louisiana officials have confirmed a total of 380 positive cases in the state, with approximately 90% of those cases coming from the New Orleans area.

The state has also reported 10 deaths from the virus, 9 of which came from New Orleans.
