NBA Holding Out Hopes For March All-Star Game

Woj bomb! Well, sort of, but still good news. According to Woj, the NBA is discussing potentially holding the All-Star game in Atlanta, and having the event support HBCU’s and COVID relief.

Personally, I’m really hoping they do the all star game this year. The game is finally building some momentum after last year’s awesome format, and you’d hate to see that killed by the pandemic. You know, if there’s one thing the pandemic can’t take from us, it’s NBA all-star weekend.

So, cmon Silver, make it happen. When done right like it was last year, the NBA all-star game can actually be one of the most compelling events in sports. Combine that with a great philanthropic opportunity, and it’s a recipe for success. Oh yeah, and 3, maybe 4, Brooklyn Nets are gonna be all-stars (yes, Joe Harris is an all-star), so I NEED to see that.
