For some sports fans, it has been an increasing difficult couple months without live sports events due to the Coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic. However, one sport is set to be back up and running coming soon.

Beginning on May 17, NASCAR is set to resume their overall schedule as they will be back racing at the Darlington Raceway at Darlington, South Carolina for three days there.

There is expected to be three races that will run then. The Cup series will be run on the 17th and the 20th. The Xfinity series will be run on Tuesday, the 19th.

For the following weekend (Memorial Day weekend), there will be races run at Charlotte starting with the Cup series on 24th. Then racing will be for the days of May 25-27 that will feature all three NASCAR series at Charlotte (Gander Outdoor Truck, Xfinity, and Cup).

Even if the schedule is altered a bit, this schedule fits better with how everything is going on the world currently. As Cup series driver Brad Keselowski said below, it will not be a perfect schedule. And he is rightfully excited to get back going in the racecar.

You can catch the May 17 Cup race at 3:30 pm on FOX.
