Everyone has made a comeback in their lives, but what Michigan State Spartans guard Joshua Langford did on Thanksgiving Eve is among one of the best stories in college basketball.

After missing the last two seasons due to nagging knee and foot injuries, Langford made his first action and start on the Breslin Center court—and he made the most of it as he scored his points since December 29, 2018.

The video below shows Langford hitting one of his two 3-point shots halfway into MSU’s first game of the regular season against the Eastern Michigan Eagles.

Langford would make another three as he would finish with six points in the first half.

The comeback story would be complete as Langford’s 10 points helped the Spartans pull away to win 83-67 over the Eagles.
