According to Clickondetroit.com, the new estimated case total for the Coronavirus (or COVID-19) in Michigan is now up to almost 800 and potentially climbing.
The spike in the case total came when there were 200 new cases reported in a span of one day. Even with the ongoing spread of the virus, there is still zero reported cases in the Upper Peninsula.
Health officials have said, with lack of testing and resources located for those tests, that number could be more higher.
WWJ News also said in their post that the ratio for people infected with the virus in Michigan are 51% male and 49% female.
The spike of cases also takes into an account that there were six reported deaths caused by the virus. The two recent victims were both elderly women from Detroit.
Please stay safe out there and stay healthy in any area you live in.
