You’re probably reading that headline and saying the same thing that I did ‘holy shit, that isn’t real’ but oh, it is. Michael Jordan once turned down $100,000,000! And it would have only taken him 2 hours of his time!

MJ’s agent David Falk, had an interview with WFAN’s Boomer & Gio with Boomer Esiason and Gregg Giannotti and he explained how Jordan once turned down $100 million. According to Falk, this went down in 2018, where all MJ had to do was let a brand use his his name and likeness.

All that MJ had to do was make one two-hour appearances, to promote this brand. That was all, but when you’re MJ you don’t have to promote something you don’t like.

“I brought him a deal three years ago for $100 million,” Falk said. “All he had to do was, other than giving his name and likeness, make one two-hour appearance to announce the deal, and he turned it down. God bless him. He’s been so successful. It gives him an opportunity to do whatever the hell he wants or not to do things he doesn’t want. I really admire that. He’s very, very selective in the things he wants to be involved in.”

Falk ended up saying that Jordan was in Asia before and was offered $7 million to play in a golf tournament – he turned that down as well. Imagine being able to turn something down that is worth $100M? I’d do just about anything for $100M! Hell, I’d do just about everything for $1M! Let’s be real, especially if it would only take me two hours.
