Earlier today, independent wrestler Candy Cartwright posted to Twitter allegations of an alleged sexual assault involving WWE Smackdown Superstar Matt Riddle that allegedly took play sometime in May 2018. Riddle has taken to Twitter this evening and while he didn’t specifically comment on the allegations personally, he posted the following statement from a law office that we can assume is representing him. There was another posting this afternoon from a Rick Diculous, who is claiming to be the van driver from the night when the alleged assault took place. In his posting, Mr. Diculous states that the accusations made against Matt Riddle are “completely false.” See below.

The WWE has also released the following statement which appears to be addressing allegations regarding several members of the WWE roster:

“Individuals are responsible for their own personal actions. WWE has zero tolerance for matters involving domestic violence, child abuse, and sexual assault. Upon arrest for such misconduct, a WWE talent will be immediately suspended. Upon conviction for such misconduct, a WWE talent will be immediately terminated.”
