Yes! You’ve read that right.

Screenshot this. Mark this down. Bookmark it, if that’s even a thing anymore.. Because Matt Patricia will help Detroit to a Super Bowl. I’m not saying it’s going to be this season, but it’s coming.

It has to be, right? Matt Patricia, Bob Quinn, and Darren Bevill have a plan and I’m ready for them to execute it. I would include defensive coordinator Paul Pasqualoni but let’s be real; Patricia is running the defense.

On the other side of the ball, Matthew Stafford has to step up this season and prove that he belongs in this position. He had a tough offseason dealing with his wife Kelly having brain surgery, but there is no doubt that Matt “Ironman” Stafford will be ready for this season.

The Detroit Lions made multiple key acquisitions this offseason, first off by fixing the tight end room that wasn’t there last year by drafting T.J Hockenson and signing Jesse James two huge moves for Detroit.

Trey Flowers and Justin Coleman are another two huge moves for Detroit. Flowers is an upgrade over Ziggy Ansah whose injured every other week and Coleman is a solid under the radar move and one of the best slot defenders.

Detroit also improved at WR by bringing in Danny Amendola, TommyLee Lewis, Jermaine Kearse and drafting Travis Fulgham. Detroit already has Kenny Golladay who is an absolute monster and Marvin Jones who is one of Matt Stafford’s favorite targets.

At runningback Detroit brought in C.J Anderson after he had one hell of an end of the season last year averaging 7 yards per carry and helping Los Angeles make a run, Anderson and Kerryon Johnson will be a dynamic duo.

Darius Slay and Damon Harrison are two of Detroit’s key players and hopefully they show up to practice as they missed workouts already as the two are searching for new contracts although they both have two years left. Even if they don’t get a new contract I believe at this point they will show up because they know what football means to the City of Detroit and well….

Why wouldn’t they show up? There’s about a .1% chance they don’t show. And when they do show up and this team starts to click it’s going to be something special. Patricia is the guy we need to be running the show. He’s a hard-nose coach and get’s in your ear but also can smile and enjoy himself and his team.

THERE WILL BE A PATRICIA STATUE DOWNTOWN DETROIT WITHIN THE NEXT 7 YEARS! Hopefully it’s not 7 more years till Detroit wins a Super Bowl…. But this season is going to be something special for Detroit.
