With some Detroit Lions fans upset with the team trading away star WR Golden Tate for a third-round pick a reporter decided to ask head coach Matt Patricia about it and Patrica didn’t seem to happy with the way he was being asked.
And honestly, the guy does seem to be shoving the question down his throat, and in a pretty douche-sounding tone. Patricia’s the guy.
It happens at the 3:15 mark.

Reporter: “Why do you think this move makes your franchise better?”
Patricia: “Ah, well, you know. Do me a favor just kinda sit up, just like, have a little respect for the process. Every day you come and ask me questions and you’re just kinda like you know, ‘gimme this.’
Reporter: “I’m sitting …”
Patricia: “I’m asking just to be a little respectful in this whole process.”
Reporter: “Okay, that’s fine.”
Patricia: “So ask me a question professionally and I’ll answer it for you.”
Reporter: “Okay. Why do you feel like this move makes your franchise better?”
This just shows how big of balls Patricia has. Sit up. And respect the man. This franchise hasn’t seen any Super Bowls. What has Patricia done in New England with Bill Belichick? Won. So you know what? How about we actually trust a process for once. Instead of jumping to want to fire everyone? It’s better we get a third round draft pick instead of nothing for Golden Tate.
He traded a player who seemed to be struggling this season with holding onto the ball, and sometimes seemed like he was “too good” celebrating way before touchdowns, even though the teams losing. Selfish. Patricia and Bob Quinn know what they’re doing and that’s why In Patricia We Trust T-Shirt sales are booming, and you need to get yourself one.
