An Illinois man has been arrested and charges after allegedly pushing his wife to her death after the couple attended a St. Louis Cardinals game last Sunday night.

The St. Louis Police responded to an incident at a Busch Stadium parking garage and found Bradley Jenkins, 30, covered in blood and straddling the body of his wife, Allissa Martin, 27.

Jenkins also appeared to be intoxicated at that time.

Reported from breaking911.com and thecount.com, investigators found Martin’s cell phone on the seventh floor, still recording.

They deciphered the recording and found that the couple were arguing. In the middle of the recording, Martin told Jenkins repeatedly to stop punching her in the face.

Martin then dropped her camera and was heard screaming until a sound heard after her body hit the ground.

Martin was pronounced dead at the hospital that evening.

The police charged Jenkins on one count of domestic assault. Martin’s death is yet to be deemed a homicide.

Martin and Jenkins were newlyweds at the time. They also worked together at the State of Illinois’ Department of Corrections.

Jenkins is currently held in a $100,000 cash-only bond.
