Making The Case

The Undertaker has the best streak in Professional Wrestling history, with his undefeated WrestleMania streak which lasted 20 years until he lost to Brock Lesnar at WrestleMania 30, in 2014. He’s also had numerous gimmick changes and each got over with the audience just as good as the previous one, culminating with all of his gimmicks showing up in his latest match, at WrestleMania 36 against AJ Styles in a “Boneyard Match”, which swept the nation during WrestleMania weekend. He’s also the best “dark” character in WWE/WWF history. He walked the extremely thin line of being intimidating while not ever being corny. Between the streak, the 7 World Championship reigns, the multiple successful character changes and his longevity of going strong at the ripe age of 55, “The Deadman” is firmly in the mix for being the GOAT.
