In a heartfelt video on the Carolina Panthers Twitter Page, star linebacker Luke Keuchly has retired from the NFL.

Keuchly doesn’t specifically point fingers towards new Panthers head coach Matt Rhule, or the rebuilding times ahead in Carolina as reasons that he is deciding to hang it up.

If this indeed the end for Luke Keuchly, then he has had one heck of a career for the Carolina Panthers. Drafted 9th overall back in 2012 out of Boston College, Keuchly led the league twice in tackles in 2012 and 2014, and helped take the Panthers to Super Bowl 50.

Well done, Luke. You are a class act, a true professional, and will forever be missed. Good luck in your future endeavors!
