Another former Detroit Lions player spoke his mind about playing under both head coaches Jim Caldwell and Matt Patricia.

NFL running back and current free agent ‘Doc’ Zach Zenner spoke on the ‘Michael Rothstein Podcast’ to discuss what it was like to be playing under both coaches with ESPN’s Lions beat reporter Michael Rothstein.

It sounds like he is in the middle regarding the head coaching controversies. The point he was trying to get across is that maybe Caldwell is about having a connection between coaches and players, while Patricia is more about trying to get players to show respect to him and the rest of the staff.

Zenner did say that he has no ill will towards Patricia after being released from the Lions after the 2018 season.

He would go to join with the Arizona Cardinals, New Orleans Saints, and the Miami Dolphins since then.
