After Game 6 between the Los Angeles Lakers and the Phoenix Suns last night, in which the Suns did the unthinkable and stopped LeBron James and his team from advancing out of the first round of the NBA playoffs for the first time in his career, LeBron did what he does best.

Be a selfish petulant child.

James indicated that he needed an entire off-season to recover from this past year. Apparently representing your country in the Olympics that happens once every four years was just too much work for him. Odds are, he was just upset at the fact that he did not advance out of the first round like he has every single time in the playoffs and needed more time to pout about it.

This makes perfect sense coming from LeBron. He has a case of the “sads” and takes it out on the rest of the country. The NBA and basketball will be better as a whole once he eventually retires.

Even worse than that, instead of doing the right thing and representing the country and being a leader of the US Olympic basketball team, he decided to plug his upcoming movie Space Jam, the sequel.

I’m sure that just like his career in basketball, James performance in Space Jam won’t be nearly as good as Jordan’s.

The self dubbed “King James” is without question the load his mother should have swallowed.

“I think I’m going to play for the Tune Squad this summer instead of the Olympics,” James said, via Bleacher Report’s Sean Highkin. “We’re gonna gear up to beat the MonStars, or the Goon Squad, I guess they’re called now.”
