Former All-Star center Demarcus Cousins has been trying to revive his career after dealing with plenty of injuries in the last few years, but lately since being released from the Houston Rockets because they want to go younger in the front court, he’s been gathering attention among contending teams. Specifically the Lakers since Anthony Davis has been ruled out the next 4 weeks with a calf injury. Cousins is having a solid season averaging 9 points and nearly 8 rebounds off the bench, if he can get more minutes on a good team he can make an impact.

Even though nine points isn’t very impressive for a man that used to score 30 any given night, but he still has some left in the tank, you can’t forget what he was before injuries. Let’s not forget, the man did win a ring technically with the Lakers because he was on the roster last year even though he didn’t play due to injury, so the reunion doesn’t seem far fetched.

Regardless, I’m sure teams like the Nets, Clippers, and even the Bucks will check in on his free agency to see what he’s going to do.
