Kyrie Irving To Be The Next Head Coach Of The Boston Celtics?

The Boston Celtics organization has had a lot of drama surround its team during the NBA playoffs. From one of its fans hurling a water bottle at Kyrie Irving, to Irving’s disrespect of the Celtics organization by intentionally stomping on the teams logo on the court, and most recently Danny Ainge retiring and Brad Stevens being promoted to President of Basketball Operations.

While Stevens being promoted does not seem like a source of drama, it became one when ESPN Analyst Stephen A. Smith implied that the Celtics organization was racist for not hiring a black person for the role.

Meanwhile, NBA commentator Richard Jefferson said he feels the next head coach of the Boston Celtics should be Kyrie Irving.

While Jefferson was obviously joking about the matter, it may have very well been a “tongue in cheek moment” implying that Boston should be cognizant about giving a minority a chance at landing the vacant head coach role.
