To be fair and honest, Joy Taylor is a beauty on the eyes as the cohost to ‘The Herd with Colin Cowherd,’ but here in the recent The Herd segment on a press conference by Detroit Lions new head coach Dan Campbell, she was a bit of the ‘no-fun’ side here.
Joy’s beef with Lions fans started last night after criticizing Campbell for having a helmet on due to him being named the grand marshall for a racing event at Belle Isle Park in Michigan.
The reaction from fans was justified and swift as they ripped on her left and right for her ridiculous take. Yet, she is the playing the victim, and was reminded of a past tweet that basically made her a fan girl of Campbell during his time with the Miami Dolphins.
One of the tweet said Joy had a ‘change of opinion’ after learning of her past tweet.
Here are more tweets that explains more of Joy’s backpedaling. She went to say that she loves Detroit, even though she bashed the football team’s head coach for just having fun.
All we have to say is, after all the bad years that the Lions drastically underachieved under Matt Patricia to get Matthew Stafford to get him a deep playoff run, we deserve to have some fun/hope for the future around here. Yeah, we’re looking at a rebuild, but that does not mean we deserve ridicule for having a fresh, new head coach that brings that excitement.
Maybe provide some context to your take, instead of going along with the anti-Detroit takes that many other sports media outlets do. The backpedaling isn’t looking good here, and it is quite funny seeing her trying to justify it.
Just stop, take your L and move on please.
