Theoretical Democratic Presidential nominee “Creepy” Joe Biden made a pronouncement during a recent appearance on a morning radio show, with National Review revealing:
“If you have a problem figuring out whether you’re for me or Trump, then you ain’t black,” Biden told radio DJ Charlamagne tha God on The Breakfast Club.
Let’s take a look at things to see where “Sleepy” Joe’s radio appearance took a sudden turn, much like some of Joey B.’s other media appearings. USA Today provided some background on what happened:
During the interview on Charlamagne’s program, “The Breakfast Club,” the former vice president emphasized his ties to the African American community and touted his record on civil rights. He also told Charlamagne “there are multiple black women being considered” for vice president.
About 17 minutes into the 18-minute interview, a Biden staffer is heard interrupting and telling Charlamagne, “That’s really our time. I apologize.”
According to a report at Politico:
You can’t do that to black media!” Charlamagne retored.
“I do that to white media and black media because my wife has to go on at 6 o’clock,” Biden shot back, apparently referring to a subsequent media appearance by Jill Biden, before adding: “Uh oh. I’m in trouble.”
“Listen, you’ve got to come see us when you come to New York, VP Biden,” Charlamagne said. “It’s a long way until November. We’ve got more questions.”
“You’ve got more questions?” Biden replied. “Well, I tell you what, if you have a problem figuring out whether you’re for me or Trump, then you ain’t black.”
Did Joe get bran flakes instead of Raisin Bran for his breakfast? Perhaps that might explain his testiness. The Politico story added the following exchange:
“I have a record that is second to none, the NAACP has endorsed me every time I’ve run,” Biden said, throwing up his hands. The same staffer can be heard thanking Charlamagne and trying to conclude the interview.
“Take a look at my record, man! I extended the Voting Rights [Act] 25 years. I have a record that is second-to-none,” he said. “The NAACP’s endorsed me every time I’ve run. I mean, come on. Take a look at the record.”
Hopefully “Creepy” Joe isn’t falling into the same trap as the late John McCain, a politician who campaigned for President so many times that he felt the nomination was owed to him. Although Joe is the presumptive candidate, his recent verbal gaffes and other troubles have led to a call for someone else to run for President against WWE Hall of Famer Donald Trump.
Joe Biden’s apparent arrogance could lead him to lose the Presidential election, much as Hillary Clinton did in 2016 when she alienated a key group of voters with her condescending attitude and arrogance.
