Since reports have indicated that he might be tempted to leave Michigan, some fan bases of the NFL have been advocating for Jim Harbaugh to take their head coaching job.

There’s the Chicago Bears and Las Vegas Raiders, who are expected to have interest. But then there is the New York Giants. A team Harbaugh reported would have interest in coaching.

How did the fan base of the New York Giants respond to the idea of Harbaugh coaching them? Very well.

On WFAN in New York, Craig Carton and Evan Roberts advocated that Harbaugh would be the perfect fit for the Giants to take over as the head coach.

Harbaugh was 44-19-1 when he coached the San Francisco 49ers and got them to a Super Bowl in 2012. If not for his brother, he’d have a Super Bowl ring.

Harbaugh is coming off one of his most successful seasons at Michigan, going 12-2 and losing to Georgia in the Orange Bowl on New Year’s Eve.

Harbaugh’s experience and demeanor as a head coach is perfect and exactly what the Giants need. He is the type of head coach who can fix a struggling franchise like the Giants.

John Mara should do everything possible to get Jim Harbaugh to the Giants.
