Philadelphia Eagles DT Jalen Carter has been red hot during his team’s six game win streak. He is coming off his most dominant performance in the 26-18 win over the Washington Commanders.
Since the Eagles bye week, Carter has been an absolute game wrecker. He had 3 sacks in in the first two games after the bye.
For the season, Carter has 3.5 sacks, 29 total tackles, 7 tackles for a loss and 10 QB hits. He had 6.0 sacks in 2023, his rookie season.
The Eagles selected Carter with the ninth over pick in the 2023 NFL draft, after his standout collegiate career at Georgia.
Carter is living up to what the Eagles thought that he would be. His dominance along the defensive line has been a major reason for the team’s defensive turnaround this year.
The 23 year-old Carter played every defensive snap in the Eagles win over the Commanders and was dominant from the beginning of the game to the final whistle.
Carter and the rest of the Eagles defense have been giving opposing offenses fits over the last six weeks.
