Bad news for the Jake Paul clan, as it’s being reported that his rematch with Tyron Woodley did a staggeringly low 65,000 pay-per-view buys. For reference, this is the same amount of buys that UFC 34 did in 2001, when Randy Couture knocked out Pedro Rizzo. Elite company if you ask me.

But is anybody surprised by these numbers? They said the first fight did 500k, and that was definitely inflated as it was, 65k is certainly closer to the real number. Think about it. These clownshow fights are directly tailored to people who are like 15-25 years old, aka the demographic who is by far the least likely to buy a pay-per-view, and the most talented at illegally streaming fights.

Basically, everyone I know watched that fight, but I don’t know one person that actually paid for it.

Looks like Uncle Dana was right again, as he’s been going off about the phony pay-per-view numbers for a while. But 500k to 65k? That’s quite the fib right there. I’m pretty sure Dana could pull a couple homeless guys off the street and still do better than 65k buys.
