The Jacksonville Jaguars announced on Twitter that they are firing their Vice President of Football Operations, Tom Coughlin.
The firing comes after news came out that 25% of the NFLPA grievances filed were against the Jaguars. Coughlin was notorious for fining players for tardiness and other issues that many may see as “minor”.
Coughlin was the first coach of the Jaguars before moving on to win two Super Bowls with the New York Giants.
Although his career was a great success, his hard nose style is not embraced by today’s modern athlete.
