The time has come, the number one prospect in all of baseball is finally being called up by the Tampa Bay Rays. Wander Franco has been known for his glove and athleticism, but this year in AAA he’s hitting .315 with a .954 OPS, and has 7 home-runs and 35 RBI’s in 39 games. He’s currently on a 162 game pace for 29 home-runs, but realistically, he will cool off a little bit and have to adjust to major league pitching.

This has been in the works for the Rays all year as they traded their original starting shortstop Willy Adames.

The Rays could really use him now, as they’ve lost their last six. A spark from Franco could really shake up that division and put them back on top.
