Isaiah Rodgers Is Standing Out During Eagles OTAs

Philadelphia Eagles CB Isaiah Rodgers is standing out during the two open practices to the media at OTAs.

During yesterday’s OTA practice, Rodgers picked off a pass from QBJalen Hurts and returned it the other way for a touchdown.

Rodgers is coming back from a year-long suspension for gambling. The Eagles signed him last year, when he was released by the Indianapolis Colts.

Rodgers said that the suspension humbled him, as the Eagles were the only team to reach out to him.

The Eagles signed Rodgers to a one-year, $1.01 million deal. He looks to help upgrade last year’s disappointing defensive backfield.

The 26 year-old Rodgers was a sixth round pick by the Colts in the 2020 NFL draft. He has 3 career interceptions and 90 total tackles in 45 games.

This was a very smart move by Howie Roseman, taking a chance on a talented player that didn’t cost anything. This is why the Eagles are an elite franchise.
