Here’s some interesting fact that Lions fans, including myself, may have missed today.
The Detroit Lions play on Monday Night Football tonight at Lambeau Field in Green Bay. But here today (October 14th) in the United States, it is also known for Columbus Day or Indigenous Peoples Day, and it is also Thanksgiving Day in our neighboring country of Canada.
I did not know about this until a couple Lions fans tweeted about this earlier this afternoon. Even a couple verified accounts chimed in on the Thanksgiving dates.
Happy Thanksgiving to our Canadian fans! 🇨🇦

The Lions play on America’s Thanksgiving Game against the Chicago Bears in November.
Well from that, all I have to say is, happy Canadian Thanksgiving Day to our neighboring country!
