A clip was leaked on the internet of a woman at Yellowstone National Park taking photos of a grizzly bear and her cubs. One of the grizzly bears charged at the woman after she got too close.
The clip reached the US attorney’s office in Wyoming and the woman was sentenced to 4 days in jail, fined $1000, and banned from the park for one year. Apparently the woman was too close to the bears as they’re protected and park rules require tourists to not approach wildlife. She pleaded guilty to ‘willfully remaining, approaching, and photographing wildlife within 100 yards.’
In all honesty, this lady is an idiot. On what planet do you live on where a bear charging at you results in you continuing to take photos? If that bear continued charging, it would’ve been chomping on her arm and this would be a completely different article. Dumbie.
