After the Coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic cancelled/postponed numerous events around the Upper Peninsula, along with the 2020 UP State Fair, the fair’s board is currently making plans for the 2021 Fair. Those plans include the week’s lineup for grandstand entertainment.

The U.P. State Fair has announced on their website the lineup for the live grandstand events/concerts for this year’s fair, and it’ll feature the similar lineup that was suppose to perform last year.

On Tuesday, August 17th, it will feature country singer and songwriter Helen Debaker-Vorce, who is a U.P. native out of Escanaba.

Being known mostly as a songwriter, Debaker-Vorce’s songs include ‘Burning Flame,’ ‘In Their Memory (Tribute to 9/11),’ and ‘It Won’t Be Long Now.’
