In an article by Tim Poole of Gambling Insider, the Golden Nugget Online Gambling has announced they have a partnership deal with Ojibwa Casino and the Keweenaw Bay Indian Community (KBIC) on offering online casino gaming in the Upper Peninsula and through the state of Michigan.

This news is as part of an expansion of online gaming throughout the United States.

The expansion also includes having the gaming company going public and offering online casino markets in New Jersey, and potentially in Pennsylvania in the future.

As part of the deal, Golden Nugget Online Gaming president Thomas Winter said there will also be an online sportsbook to bring a premium online experience for gaming.

“Golden Nugget Online Gaming is thrilled to partner with the Ojibwa Casino to provide casino players in Michigan with a premium online casino and sportsbook experience,” Winter said.

With the new deal in place, KBIC president Chris Swartz feels ecstatic for this deal to begin.

“We are excited to partner with Golden Nugget to bring online casino and sports betting to the state of Michigan,” Swartz said.

“Working with a strong brand will be a perfect complement to our brand new casino in Marquette, as well as our casino in Baraga.”

There was no listed start date in the post on when the deal will be in effect.
