On Friday, the New York Giants announced that they will be starting Mike Glennon on Sunday vs the Miami Dolphins, as Daniel Jones is out with a neck injury.

Glennon hasn’t won a game in the NFL going back to 2017 when he was a member of the Chicago Bears. Going back to 2013, Glennon is 2-15 as a starter, which isn’t inspiring much confidence.

In his lone appearance for the Giants when he took over for Jones after he left with a concussion, Jones threw two interceptions in a 44-20 loss to the Dallas Cowboys.

Glennon is a backup in the league for a reason. If anything is learned from Sunday’s game, maybe it will be a time where the fans of the Giants will appreciate how good Jones is.

They can hope for a a Colt McCoy like win from a year ago against the Seattle Seahawks. But we are asking for a miracle here from Glennon.
