Giants Clean House

Well, when you bench a 2-time Super Bowl champion, you were only asking to lose your job. Then, when you decide that Geno Smith is going to start over him…..Geno Smith for crying out loud, heads are going to roll. The Giants fired Head Coach Ben McAdoo and GM Jerry Reese today, and are looking to start anew, as reported by Ian Rapoport, and Aditi Kinkhabwala of NFL Network.

Any Giants fan would’ve seen this coming, but the real question is, what took them so long? Just look at how bad they’ve been under McAdoo.

Their replacements for the rest of the season will be Steve Spagnuolo as Head Coach, and Kevin Abrams as the GM, and hopefully for Giants fans, they’ll just tank to get a decent draft pick next year.

The real question is, what do the Giants look to do from here? Do they look at trying to grab a coach from the college ranks, or does Spagnuolo stay long term? Will Eli Manning come back, or is he done for good? There are still a lot of questions to be answered, but let us know what you think the future looks like for the Giants in the comments below.
