Before I get into why I think this is true, this poor guy must get his name spelled and pronounced wrong on a daily basis. I cannot tell you how many times I have heard his name pronounced during the Olympics as “Stevenson.” It’s not that hard people. There is no “n.”

Now, back to business. First and foremost, if you don’t know who Gable Steveson so you have been living under a rock for the past month. Gable is one of the most decorated Olympians of all time, more specifically in the sport of wrestling.

In freestyle, Steveson claimed the 2020 Summer Olympic Games gold medal after defeating three-time and reigning World Champion Geno Petriashvili in the finale, and defeating defending Olympic champion Taha Akgül earlier in the tournament. He is also the reigning Pan American Continental champion, and was a three-time age-group World Champion. Feel free to check out a few of his highlights below.

Now that the Olympics are over, one has to wonder what is next for Steveson. I for one think he is a lock to join the WWE in the very near future. Aside from his superior athletic ability, it is obvious that Steveson understand the art of promotion and making noise given his personality that shines through his Twitter account. His personality alone is a perfect match for the WWE, and his athleticism is just a huge bonus.

This past weekend, Steveson made his first appearance at the WWE’s second biggest pay per view of the year, SummerSlam. He was recognized in the ring for his achievements at the Olympics, but one could only hope that this is his introduction into the world of sports entertainment.

Gable has the exact look and personality of the talent that Vince McMahon likes to hire. The WWE has had considerable success with collegiate wrestlers over the years with talents like Kurt Angle, Brock Lesnar and Dolph Ziegfeld to name a few.

But Gable Steveson, you can just tell that he’s special.

In fact, I’ll go as far as saying that Gavle Steveson has the ever elusive “it” that WWE leadership often refers to. That intangible quality that makes a very select few a star.

Simply put folks, Gable Steveson is destined to one day become a WWE Champion. Can you imagine him squaring off against Brock Lesnar down the road one day?

Mark my words and bookmark this page. I am not guessing or making a prediction, I am simply giving you a spoiler.

Within the next few years, Gable Steveson will be on top of WWE and reign supreme as its World Champion.
