Future of HBO’s Hard Knocks series in jeopardy?

Could we see the end of the long-time series on HBO, Hard Knocks?

An announcement is expected to come in regards to the series at halftime on Thursday during the game between the New York Giants and Washington Football Team.

It’s not clear if the announcement will be the end of the series on HBO that began in 2001 after the Baltimore Ravens won the Super Bowl in the 2000 season.

Since then, it has been the Dallas Cowboys in 2002, the Kansas City Chiefs in 2007, the Cowboys again in 2008, the Cincinnati Bengals in 2009, the New York Jets in 2010, Miami Dolphins in 2012, the Be gals again in 2013, Atlanta Falcons in 2014, Houston Texans in 2015, Los Angeles Rams in 2016, Tampa Bay Buccaneers in 2017, Cleveland Browns in 2018, Las Vegas Raiders in 2019, the Los Angeles Chargers and Rams in 2020 and the Cowboys for the third time in 2021.

Some fans voiced their opinion about the idea of the stoppage of the series, if in fact, that is what is being announced on Thursday night.
