Excuse the f-bomb in the article title but right now I’m all in on the Buffalo Bills. While I know anything can happen in the NFL playoffs (and sadly for the Bills often happens-and not in a good way), I haven’t been this excited about the Buffalo Bills since I did cocaine with NFL Hall of Famer Bruce Smith (okay, that’s a bit of an exaggeration).
Das Wunderkind Josh Allen and the Bills’ amazing array of offensive players (well, at least in terms of passing; their run game is still the drizzling shits) has me excited and the Bills’ defense has shown some real steel this season. Now, with the Bills poised for their first-round two playoff win in decades, everyone in Buffalo is noticeably psyched.
This brings me to hockey. Hockey has always been my favorite sport but when I learned the NHL was returning to action this week, I honestly couldn’t care less. I enjoy watching the often hapless Buffalo Sabres, so much I had season tickets from 1995 to 2010 until my court-ordered sabbatical (see my prison memoir Laughing All the Way to the Bank (Robbery) How an Attorney Survived Prison
So as long as the Bills are in the playoffs, I won’t be paying any attention to the Sabres (other to say that they had better make the playoffs). I love my Sabres (even though the Montreal Canadiens will always be my favorite team) but for now, they could be playing in my back yard and I wouldn’t watch.
Go Bills!
