During halftime of FSU vs Notre Dame the FSU band honored Booby Bowden by playing Amazing Grace and it’s a must watch moment.
Bowden passed away at the age of 91 last month. He was the head coach for FSU from 1976 – 2009. Yep you read that correctly! He was the head coach for that long, he’s a legend. During his entire coaching career he finished with 377 wins – 219 losses – and 4 ties. In his 44 seasons as a head coach, Bowden had 40 winning seasons.
During his career he had 11 assistant coaches of his head to become a college head coach.
