The world of pornography may be considered taboo by some, but it’s one of the closest ways to gauge our culture, something clear by the new form of pornography known as “spite porn.” A recent article at Rolling Stone provides some background on the latest trend in showing skin.

Pat Benatar was right-stop using sex as a weapon.

Meet Allie Eve Knox, who creates content online for things ranging from findom (financial domination) to other custom videos. However, a recent request from a scorned lover led to Knox creating a new type of video, what she describes as “spite porn.”

“A woman just ordered a custom video from me to send to her ex-husband and have me shame him for all the shit he did while they were together and I’ve never felt more needed in my entire life,” she wrote in a tweet that quickly went viral. The resulting custom video she made falls into a genre she’s referring to as “spite porn.”

According to Knox, the client reached out to her asking if she could commission a video about her ex-husband. The woman “thought it would be a great way to have him hear what a terrible person he is,” Knox says. As is customary, Knox asked her what she wanted in the script, and the woman wrote back with a list of specific details: “His porn obsession, his narcissism, how he is self absorbed. Stuff that could speak to most men,” as well as other assorted misdeeds that the woman shared with her privately. Knox recorded two versions of the video: one for the woman specifically, and a generic one she could resell on her custom clips page.

While it’s humanly impossible for me to keep up on the latest in the world of sexual deviancy (although Pro Sports Extra pays me handsomely to do my best), I figured the good folks over at Urban Dictionary would know what spite porn is. Incredibly, there was no listing for spite porn. The closest thing they had was the term “spite fuck” defined as:

The act of fucking a person for no other reason than pure hatred.Bitch bothered me for so long, I spite fucked her so hard her mom could feel it.

According to Knox, she recorded what looked to be a normal-looking porn video, with her showcasing her assets and touching herself before launching into a vicious diatribe against the client’s ex-husband. Knox tweeted a video clip and according to the UK Sun:

Her tweet has since gone viral, as people praised the ex-wife for coming up with the idea, and Allie for executing it with perfection.

Some people called for ‘spite porn’ to become its own category, with one person commenting: “This should be a whole category on Clip sites.”

Another wrote: “I salute that woman for being a real one to her feelings and how she expresses them.”

So the next time you pull a hump and dump then receive a porn video, you might be in for a surprise. Then again, you might just turn it off as soon as the porn actress starts talking, much as you did with your ex.
