Tracy Smothers, who wrestled in the WWE as Freddie Joe Floyd, was known mostly for his work in ECW, WCW and Smoky Mountain Wrestling. Yet, his ties to mainstream modern wrestling run deep, as a guiding veteran for a number of superstars. Smothers passed away at 58 due to complications from a hernia surgery.
